Macatawa River Cleanup

What?

The Macatawa Area Coordinating Council, in partnership with the Outdoor Discovery Center Macatawa Greenway, hosts a river cleanup each fall to pick up trash along the shores of Lake Macatawa and the Macatawa River.

When?

September 16, 2017, 1-4pm

Where?

We will meet near the boat launch at Dunton Park, located at 290 Howard Ave, Holland. Gloves, trash bags and other supplies will be provided as well as bug spray, snacks and bottled water. Plan on getting wet and or muddy. Bring old shoes or mud boots if you plan on working from the shore.

Registration is required to the Outdoor Discovery Center Macatawa Greenway. Depending on the group size, there may be a crew on the shores of the lake and another in kayaks in the river. Anyone under 16 years old must be with an adult. All boats, paddles and life vests will be provided.
