Everyone can waltz, right?

Grand River Watershed Arts and Music Council is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is dedicated to educating and empowering people to be stewards of our precious water resources through environmentally themed music and arts programs and events. This year we're proud to have hosted our 9th Annual Grand River Water Festival, stepped into the role of community partner for the Breakaway Music Festival, and continued our partnership with the 2nd Annual Great Lakes Music Camp. We also received grants for starting two new programs this year – Mudpuppies After School Music Program and Hidden Waterways: Community Watershed Artists Program.

To celebrate our hard work and the community's involvement throughout the year, we are inviting the public to join us in kicking up our heels at the 2nd Annual Masquerade Waltz Ball. Held at the Sweet House mansion in the historic Heritage Hill District, a waltz band led by musicians and hosts Bruce and Becca Ling (Hawks and Owls String Band) will play waltzes from 7‐10 pm. There will be a champagne/wine/beer bar. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Tickets are sold at the door. Fancy dress is encouraged, but masks are required. We will unmask near the end of the evening.

On the attached sheet, you'll discover ways to get involved and show your support. All proceeds help the Grand River Watershed Arts and Music Council engage the West Michigan community in environmentally themed music and arts program.

Will you come dance with us and join us as a sponsor

We look forward to having you join us in October! Please feel free to contact Becca at (616) 802‐7502, or becca@hawksandowls.com with questions.

Sincerely,

Bruce Ling, President
