West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum will host a forum on stormwater management and green stormwater infrastructure on Monday, August 8 at Davenport University.
A panel of national and regional stormwater experts will discuss the importance of sustainable stormwater management in protecting water quality in Michigan. WMSBF has been offering regional support to American Rivers’ initiative in creating a positive environment surrounding green stormwater infrastructure. Through raising awareness of stormwater management issues and related environmental and community impacts, the initiative looks to educate infrastructure decision-makers and other influencers on the basic principles of urban stormwater runoff and green stormwater infrastructure.
This month’s forum is presented by American Rivers and the Lower Grand River Organization of Watersheds.
