Join us for the 4th Annual Gravel Bottom Paddlefest – a day to enjoy the Grand River and craft beer! The paddle starts at the Grand River Riverfront Park in Lowell and ends at the Fulton Street DNR boat launch in Ada with an average time on the water of 2-3 hours. A team from Bill & Paul’s Sporthaus will assist paddlers with the launching and landing of the kayaks as well as loading them onto your vehicle or trailer. Shuttles will be available to transport drivers to retrieve their vehicles at the Grand River Riverfront Park and drop off paddlers at Gravel Bottom Craft Brewery to continue the fun. A portion of your ticket price will be donated to the Lower Grand River Organization of Watersheds (LGROW) to protect and preserve our local waterway. KAYAK RENTAL

Call Bill & Paul’s Sporthaus at (616) 458-1684 to reserve a kayak for $40. The rental fee includes a kayak, life vest and paddle. Kayaks will be delivered to the Grand River Riverfront Park and picked up at the Fulton Street DNR boat launch. Rentals are limited. Reserve yours today!

SCHEDULE

9-10 am - On-site registration and boat drop-off at Grand River Riverfront Park. Bring your event registration and a valid photo ID. 

10:00 am - Event kick-off and sponsor presentations by Gravel Bottom Craft Brewery, Bill & Paul’s Sporthaus and LGROW.

10:30 am - Paddlers depart!

12-2:30 pm - Shuttle service running paddlers to Gravel Bottom and Grand River Riverfront   Park

12-3 pm - Private post-paddle party at Gravel Bottom.
