Friends of Indian Mill Creek & Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP)
In this meeting we discussed the background of the Friends of Indian Mill Creek, including the objectives and goals. We reviewed past clean up locations and potential new locations for upcoming clean ups. Grand Valley State University Graduate intern Carlos over viewed the monitoring projects over the past couple of years and discussed his plans for future monitoring. The Director of Environmental Programs at Grand Valley Metropolitan Council, Wendy Ogilvie, gave to group an update on the RCPP grant. $3 Million of this grant is specifically set aside for agricultural work in Indian Mill Creek and Rogue River Watersheds.
