Report highlights success of local stormwater permitee collaboration

 LGROW and American Rivers, in cooperation with the City of Grand Rapids Environmental Services Department, are proud to share a report that was created for West Michigan MS4s. This report highlights the benefits of collaborating to meet stormwater compliance. The report can be found here.

In our area, we’ve always talked about how much money and resources MS4s are saving by working together, but we were finally able to put numbers and data to that claim. We recently moved from a watershed permit to individual MS4 permits in Michigan, but our group continues to see the benefits of working together. This not only saves local municipalities money, but allows for cohesive messaging across the watershed.
