Last week, LGROW finished our first full year of our Seasons on the Farm pilot project at Plainsong Farm. In partnership with Plainsong, LGROW, Kent Conservation District, and Trout Unlimited, this project involves 230 sixth grade students from Sparta and East Rockford Middle Schools in experiential, farm-based, sustainable agriculture education.
